Objectives

The Carlomagno Group, active since 1954 in the extraction and production of aggregates and earthmoving, embarked on a path to formalise its ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) identity, with the aim of:

  • Structuring existing environmental and quality-related activities and certifications in an organised way.

  • Preparing clear and coherent documentation for presentation to investors, public authorities, and clients.

  • Strengthening its reputation for reliability and sustainability in a market increasingly focused on selecting certified suppliers committed to environmental responsibility.

Strategy and Implementation

World Funk Pictures supported the Carlomagno Group during the initial phases of its ESG journey, focusing on:

1. ESG Analysis and Positioning
A thorough review was conducted of the company’s practices, certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, SOA), and its environmental regeneration project.

These were mapped against the three ESG pillars:

  • Environmental: sustainable management of excavation waste, reduction of environmental impact, and reuse of materials.

  • Social: generational continuity, local employment, and long-term relationships with employees and stakeholders.

  • Governance: transparent family ownership, direct operational oversight, and strong ethical alignment between ownership and management.

2. Content Development
World Funk Pictures drafted and structured key content for the future presentation of the ESG plan. Aimed at investors, clients, and public partners, the materials were prepared using professional language aligned with the Group’s history and its sustainability ambitions.

Results and Impact

Although the process is still in its early stages, the results achieved so far are meaningful:

  • Strategic Clarity: the ESG analysis enabled the Carlomagno Group to recognise and articulate its sustainability positioning—long practised but never formally expressed.

  • Ready-to-Use Tools: the documentation created is an immediately available asset for public tenders and financial stakeholder engagements.

  • Foundation for Future Communication: the content can be easily adapted into visual or multimedia formats, already aligned with the identified ESG narrative.

Conclusion

The collaboration with World Funk Pictures marks a concrete first step in the Carlomagno Group’s ESG integration journey. The analysis and document preparation phase has laid a solid foundation for future communication and positioning efforts. In a competitive and increasingly regulated environment, this initial stage represents a strategic investment in perceived sustainability and long-term business continuity.
