Petromar S.r.l., a company active in maritime energy logistics, has decisively embarked on an ESG strategy aimed at:

  • Reducing the environmental impact of its operational activities.

Strategy and Implementation

Petromar’s ESG strategy, coordinated by World Funk Pictures, was structured around three key areas:

1. ESG Data Management and Compliance

  • Collection and systematisation of ESG data at company and supply chain levels.

  • ESG report drafting with direct input from management.

  • Definition and monitoring of non-financial KPIs.

  • Development of editorial content for thought leadership.

2. Environmental Pathway via SBTi and CDP

  • Structured responses to CDP and SBTi questionnaires for environmental target validation.

  • Creation of internal procedures for emissions tracking and GHG reduction planning.

  • Alignment with ISO 14001 for strategic coherence and synergy.

  • Support in completing ESG questionnaires for strategic clients.

3. Governance and Social Inclusion

  • Qualitative assessment of social impacts and risks.

  • Mapping and promotion of existing company policies.

  • Design of tailored welfare programmes for employees.

  • Training sessions for staff and one for management.

  • Development of KPI dashboards and delivery of organisational climate surveys.

  • Implementation of social panels as tools for ongoing feedback and engagement.
